This web quest is easy to follow with options to choose different farming communities to tour. The web quest lists the state standards that it covers as well as books that can accompany the site. There are a variety of activities with easy to follow directions.

This Web quest is intended to explore prior to a field trip to a pet store. Guided by an adult, children can go through step-by-step discovering different types of animals and learning the needs of a variety of domestic pets.
This is an easy to follow web quest about animals that live along the Illinois River. The student is to find animals in photographs that live in the rocks, trees, woods and water. The student can click on the photograph to learn about the animals. A worksheet is included for the student to write and draw pictures about the animals.

This web quest is helpful for kindergarten students to learn the importance of our five senses. This site gives direction on how to set up exploratory centers in the classroom as well as give links to websites with activities for kindergarten children.

This web quest lets the child be in charge of designing his/her own zoo. The child is to draw a map with details of where the animals will be located as well as refreshments and bathrooms for the visitors. The site has pictures of animals to give the children ideas of what kind of animals could live at their zoo. Maps designed by other kindergarteners. Are available for viewing.
