Preparing to Burn Your
Electronic Portfolio to CD ROM


Before burning your electronic portfolio to CD ROM, there are a number of important steps to take to assure that your CD ROM will work properly. I have listed these as a series of questions below. Be sure you can answer YES to each question before your begin the burning process.

Is your Start.txt file inside your folder?

Have you named the file where your audience will start with an appropriate name such as index.html or Open.ppt or Begin.pdf?

Have you placed three spaces before the Start.rtf file?

Have you placed two spaces before the Open.ppt or Begin.pdf file? Do not place two spaces before your index.html file if you are placing your Electronic Portfolio on the Web.
