WebQuest II: Exploring The Stars
Now your group will be exploring the stars.
You mission will be to:
- Write in your learning log every day.
- Find and report at least 3 important ideas that everyone should know about the stars.

Use a push pin to push out holes in a styrofoam cup shaped like a famous constellation. (Use materials in the Famous Constellation Project Box.)
- Create your own constellation. (Use materials in the My Constellation Project Box.)
- Be sure you name your new constellation.
- Make up a story of how it got in the night sky. Write and illustrate your story in either poster or book form.
- Present your constellation to the class.
Extra Credit:
Have a star-gazing evening.
- Take your map of the night sky.
- Look for important stars and planets.
- Make a list of what you see
- Have everyone who stargazes with you sign the bottom of the list.
You will receive extra points for every star-gazing list you turn in.
