Title
An Interactive Site For Kids By Kids

How Stuff Works 4 Kids is a Web site for and by K - 12 students. The format is similar to Marshall Brain's How Stuff Works™, but all questions and answers are researched and written by elementary, middle school, or high school students. As such, this site provides authentic opportunities for students to read, research, and write about topics of interest to them and other students around the country. It also provides an up-to-date and research-based method for enhancing reading, writing, and information literacy skills.

This site is under development by Dr. Alice Christie with the assistance of teachers and students in the Phoenix area. If you and your students would like to contribute a question, or answer a question that other students have submitted, please do so. Please read about how to submit and self-evaluate your questions and answers before submitting. I appreciate your feedback about any components of this emerging Web site.
