To the residents of South Phoenix:

I am astonished at the diversity of the town that you call your own. South Phoenix has within it; its own way of life, its own kind of society. The early pioneers of this area are far from gone and a new way of life exists. Affordable and not-so-affordable housing has taken its position and now desires to crush the old way of life for your community. The beautiful citrus and flowers have ‘blown away’ as well as the old dirt country roads. Modern creation brought to you many concerns those of which are mainly chemical.

The economic stance of the community is unfit to deal with the businesses that generate harmful chemicals that are making our peoples sick. I hope that the community can come together under unity, with a stronger voice to combat these problems. The community will have to become one force to deal with the evolution that is taking place. The community of South Phoenix has to help itself as there is no one that is willing to help them and this is fact.

The city of Phoenix and its many assistance programs are falling ill because the lack of resources available to it and this problem is destined to affect the people who depend on it the most.  With this in mind, the community as a whole must work harder to implement a new system that will help it cope with this new dilemma.

As we look into the future, we honestly don’t know what will come of your little town. The new housing and environmental impact will be something to watch out for. Your people are strong, willing to come here at all odds, but survival rests in your hands and no one else. Stand up!
