Directions to ASU's West campus
ASU's West campus is located on West Thunderbird Road between 43rd and 51st Avenues.
From Tempe: Drive north on Rural Road across the Salt River bridge. Take the Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) west to I-10 (Maricopa Freeway). Stay west on I-10 through downtown Phoenix and take I-17 (Black Canyon Freeway) north (about 10 miles) to the Thunderbird Road exit. Proceed west on Thunderbird Road to the 47th Avenue entrance to campus. Follow the signs for visitor parking.
From Scottsdale: Take Cactus Road west to the 47th Avenue entrance to campus. (Cactus Road changes its name to Thunderbird Road when it crosses Cave Creek Road). Follow the signs for visitor parking.
Alternatively, take the Loop 101 (Pima and Agua Fria freeways) north and west to I-17 (Black Canyon Freeway). Go south on I-17 to the Thunderbird Road exit. Proceed west on Thunderbird Road to the 47th Avenue entrance to campus. Follow the signs for visitor parking.
From Sun City: Take Bell Road east to 51st Avenue. Turn right (south) and proceed to Thunderbird Road. Turn left (east) on Thunderbird Road and proceed to the 47th Avenue entrance to campus. Follow the signs for visitor parking.
From the North: Take I-17 (Black Canyon Freeway) south to the Thunderbird Road exit. Proceed west on Thunderbird Road to the 47th Avenue entrance to campus. Follow the signs for visitor parking.
From the South: Take I-10 (Maricopa Freeway) west through downtown Phoenix and take I-17 (Black Canyon Freeway) north to the Thunderbird Road exit. Proceed west on Thunderbird Road to the 47th Avenue entrance to campus. Follow the signs for visitor parking.
