The Pilgrim Life Adventure

This is a WebQuest for students to complete that takes them through the life of Pilgrims in the 1620Ős.  Kids will create a small family tree, a Venn Diagram of their lives and the Pilgrims and several other activities. 

 

 

Designing Hermits New Home

2nd Grade

This is a simple WebQuest where students create a home for a hermit crab who has outgrown his home.  Eric CarleŐs book, A House for Hermit Crab is the basis for this creative WebQuest.

Kindergarten

Kids love penguins and this website helps them learn all about them.  It includes not just science but also language arts in the form of a poem or song.  Kids can be creative by making their own penguin and sharing it with the class.  It also includes a great resource page with many sites about penguins.

 

 

Oceanographic ABC Book

2nd Grade

Students create their own ABC book while also studying ocean life.  Kids have lots of sites to explore on the ocean as well as a list of books to use as examples.  Once completed, the students will read their books to students in lower grades. 

 

 

 

School Zoo Adventures

This WebQuest grabs the studentsŐ attention with a movie message from the superintendent.  Kids will learn about animals that they may want to include in their own school zoo.  The WebQuest is well laid out and has a lot of links.
