Can I do it on my own? is a good eye opener for many teenagers.  This WebQuest was created to help student be aware of how much money they will make right out of high school and whether or not they are able to live on that amount.  The students are required to find a job that they are qualified to do, figure out how much money they will bring home after taxes, and budget their money once they find an apartment.

Buying your first car allows student to budget for their first car as well as have to give up something they like in turn to get the car.  This is a WebQuest that gives students an opportunity to learn about life.  Having the students evaluate 10 different vehicles and then have them narrow their choices is a great approach, teaching them not to always act on impulse.

http://coe.west.asu.edu/students/pwann/smwq/index.htm

The Stockmarket WebQuest is a great way for students to learn the way money can come and go so fast.  The students are assigned and rotate jobs within their group so they are able to experience all aspects of the assignment.  I was disappointed that the site was not complete for use.  Great Idea behind it!
