2. www.teenwriting.about.com/cs/lessonplans - This is an extensive writing site for ideas that are age appropriate for 5-12th grade. Great creative ideas, book lesson plans, poetry plans, story starters, etc. 

 

3. http://www.creativekids.com/ Do you have creative students that should be published? This is a place where they can do it! This site allows students to create and then display creative writings on the Internet. 

4. http://english-zone.com/  Great for 3-5th grade!  It has sections that teach grammar rules, verb tenses, plurals, possessives, etc.  This site has reading selections with comprehension questions for the student to answer when they are finished reading. There

is a teacher portion of this site that has lesson plans and activities to do with your students. 

5. http://www.rhymezone.com/   Provides service to find synonyms, antonyms, and words

that rhyme.  All you do is enter and word and it tells you what you are looking for!
