Blogs (WebLogs) are a relatively new web phenomenon made possible by the relative ease of web publishing; specialized, free blogging software (Blogger is most popular); and the desire by individuals to share their thoughts, ideas, dreams, nightmares, and the list goes on. Blogs can range from very professional (Ray Schroeder's Educational Technology, University of Illinois at Springfield Blog) to informal (Bernie Dodge's One-Trick CyberPony) to downright weird (no example sited purposefully).
