Step 1:

Answer the questions under the role that you chose. Use the resources listed under the questions to help you with your research.

 

Environmentalist:

Step 2:

Once you finish with all of your research, write a paragraph using the answers to your questions. When you finish writing your paragraph, combine it with the paragraphs of the members in your group. When you and your team members complete this task, you will have a complete report.

Your paragraph needs to have:

* a title
* a topic sentence
* supporting sentences
* a concluding sentence
* capital letters, periods, and commas when needed
* complete sentences
* correct spelling

Step 3:

You will create a hyperstudio stack or a powerpoint presentation using all of the information that you have gathered. . First, you will create a storyboard of your presentation. Print out the storyboard handout that has been created for you. Once you complete the storyboard, you will then begin creating your presentation.

This will be a collaborative effort because each member of the group will create 2-3 slides for the stack or presentation.

Step 4:

You will create a poster that shows one of the rules people should follow to prevent wildfires from happening. You will use the Smokeybear flyer to help you get some ideas of what to include on your poster.

Your poster should include:

* a mesage for wildfire prevention
* capitals, commas, and periods when needed
* correct spelling

* poster board or construction paper
* markers, crayons, or color pencils
* water colors or any other paint
* your imagination and creativity
