Students can find homework help for a variety of subjects as well as learn from reference material provided.

Description of Site: This is a fun site to visit. There are many areas of science to find here . All information is related to the environment around us. It is categorized for both teachers and students. Topics here provide background information, lessons, and activities to do. There is also information on workshops for teachers and programs being established around the globe! (Students may link directly to EPA Student Center.)

Description of Site: This site contains interesting pictures of the various biome regions of the world. These include, Desert, Temperate, Tundra, Grasslands, Rainforests, and Taiga. Students can look up where these regions are located, find facts, and view pictures of plants and animals in a particular region. An excellent informational site!

Kids can even check the weather from here. There are many ideas for things kids can do both on and off the computer.

There is even a place for kids called "Cadet" section that leads them to more information about weather. Teachers have a special place also called a Teacher's lounge, and it's full of resources for them.

Description of Site: This is a very colorful interactive site. Kids can play critical thinking games and solve puzzles. It designed for parents and children to enjoy together. Older kids might be able to play by themselves.

Description of Site: This site is designed for kids to challenge their math skills and relate it to life. They can find the shortest paht between two cities, or find how many people they can fit on one plane. There are many more challenging activities for kids to do. The activities are geared toward grader 4 and up. There are also links for teachers and parents to enjoy as well.

Description of Site: Students can take a tour of the San Diego Zoo facility on line. They can see pictures of many animals and view new exhibits that are opening up. Current events are also listed, so you may be able to find out if there are any new baby additions to the zoo.
