Title: Risky Business
Subject Matter: Science, Math and Sociology
Grade Level: 6th - 12th adaptable
Summary: This lesson asks students to speculate on the connection between R-rated movies and tobacco and alcohol use among teenagers. Students create their own surveys and analyze and present the results. Extension activities are included.
Evaluation: The estimated time of completion seems to be far too low. Their suggested time of 45 - 60 minutes does not allow time for all the activities included. I would allow at least a week if not two.
