Dr. Alice Christie's
Technology Integration Workshop: Science

Children are naturally curious and interested in the world around them. They want to know the "how" and "why" of everything they encounter. Science is a natural conduit for capturing this inquisitiveness and enthusiasm in our students. Teachers can make the most of science by allowing students time to investigate and build on their own experiences.

Whereas science is the study of the natural world, technology is the study of the man-made world. When we combine these two disciplines, we have a powerful new set of tools for investigating science with the emergence of new technologies. This course will help you to see the possibilities for integrating technology into your science program.
