Our Survey for Administrators

After sending administrators a survey to discover their perceptions about the first freshman class, we graphed the survey results using Microsoft Excel. We also recorded their responses to open-ended questions. On this page, we share administrators' perceptions from our survey.

33% of administrators directly assisted freshmen this semester.

The graph at the left reflects how they perceived the freshmen in terms of personality.

A Few Quotes from Administrators about the
Freshman Experience

Our biggest concern about becoming a four year university was making sure ASU West offered a welcoming environment. Since over 90% of our freshman are returning next semester, we feel very positive about our first steps toward making this a truly comprehensive four-year university.

Learning communities have created small, comfortable groups of people who are getting to know each other. Learning communities have help students transition to the university.

You will always be our first-class First Class!
