My name is Joe and I was born in Phoenix, Arizona. I have lived in the Phoenix area my whole life, moving from Phoenix to Glendale when I was five years old. I went to Pioneer Elementary School until eighth grade, then I went on to Cactus High School.

I have enjoyed sports ever since when I was a young child. I used to play baseball and later on basketball. I played organized basketball until my freshman year in high school. I still play basketball every once in awhile, and I still keep track of the major sports. My favorite teams are the Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks, Detroit Lions; and I also like the University of Michigan.

In my last year of high school, I was deciding what to do after I graduated. After I decided that I would attend college I had to decide which one. Of all of the colleges that I was considering- ASU West, University of Michigan, UCLA, San Diego State University, University of Arizona, I finally decided on ASU West. My grades were not high enough for the University of Michigan, where I really wanted to go. I finally decided on ASU West because it was closest to my house and I wouldn't have to pay for an apartment yet. I also liked that it was a small college and I heard some good things about it.
