Megan Olsson

Hi my name is Megan and I am, as is the rest of my class, a freshman at ASU West. I find it kind of strange to be in college. It is something that I have been anticipating for years. I have three brothers and one sister who started her first day of kindergarten on our first day here and my brother's first day as a high school senior. I live with my mom and step-dad, brothers and sister. I graduated from Sunrise Mountain High School but went to Sunnyslope High for my freshman and sophomore years.

This time last year colleges, parents, guidance counselors and teachers bombarded me about my future. I knew that I was going to go to college but I was not certain where, and then I learned that ASU West was going to be a four-year university beginning in the fall of 2001. I finally knew where I was going. I visited the campus and loved it, the classes were going to be small and it was close to home, it was perfect. So here I am taking a bunch of classes that have nothing to do with my major, which is pre-law.

My Role in The Freshman Experience Web Site

My roll is as interviewer. I have questions that I am asking several people. I have interviewed a few people and am posting ideas from the interviews on our Freshman Experience Web Site.
