My name is Nicholas Brace Velasquez and I am an eighteen year old freshman at Arizona State University West. I am the youngest child of a three. My brother and sister are ten and twelve years older respectively. I have lived in Arizona my entire life. Now I live with my parents while attending school. Until high school I attended a private Catholic school called Saints Simon and Jude. After private school, I decided it was time for a change and gave public school a try. I graduated last year from Cortez High School where I participated in many clubs including Student Government and varsity tennis. I was involved in many leadership roles including being selected as a delegate to Valley Youth Leadership and Arizona Boys State. While taking 17 credit hours I also work full time at Thrifty Car Rental. I am also very active in my church where I am a leader in Youth Group and am also on the Confirmation Team.
