There are a couple of ways to publish your pages on the COE Server. One is to use an HTML editor program that supports remote FTP transfers. Third party software, Dreamweaver, and Microsoft FrontPagecan do that.
The other way to publish HTML pages on the COE Server is to create your pages with an HTML editor (find download links to several here) and then use a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) program to upload them to the server. A common FTP client (program) for PC's is WS_FTP from Ipswitch. WS_FTP LE(Lite Edition) is FREE to educators. It can be downloaded from Ipswitch or from a list of Win95 FTP clients on the Tucows shareware site. A common FTP program for Macs is called Fetch. Mac users may download Fetch as shareware from Tucows as well.
