Dr. Alice Christie's
Online Research Page

The Internet is growing exponentially and each day provides more and more resources for teachers and learners of all ages! Below I have links to a wide variety of resources that may be useful in educational seetings. Not all links will be useful in every classroom, so users of this page can browse and select those most appropriate in terms of content and grade level.

When using the Internet in K-12 schools, I suggest a few key principles:

  • avoid having kids type URLs
  • provide links for kids through bookmarks, launch pages, or web pages
  • if kids use search engines, have them use kid-safe search engines
