  • Together, we will read the book, What Do You Do With a Tail Like This? The authors and illustrators are Steve Jenkins and Robin Page.

  • This book is about animal's noses, mouths, ears, feet, and tails.

  • Where are our noses, mouths, ears, and feet? Do we have tails?

  • What do we do with our noses, our mouths, our ears, and out feet?

What We'll Do and Learn

 

After reading What Do You Do With a Tail Like This? you will:

  • chose one animal from the book to study and learn about

  • classify your animal in three different ways

  • our class will make graphs about these animals

  • write a tall tale about your animal with a picture of your animal

  • invite our parents to our What Do You Do With a Tail Like This? celebration.
