The Grounds Services Team is responsible to the campus community for a beautifully groomed
and safe environment consisting of desert plants, trees and shrubbery, grass, and flower beds
on 300 acres, of which approximately 80 acres are cultivated. The team is dedicated to
providing cost effective landscaping services and water conservation. On campus there
are 2 wells which provide the water to maintain the plants. The water is pumped from the
wells to a 100,000 gallon underground storage tank. Through the Maxicom 2 computer system,
the water is pumped from the storage tank to the plants.
