ASU West recognizes the importance of providing avenues to assist employees
in resolving issues that may affect job performance or personal well-being.
An ombudsperson can help faculty, academic and service professional, administrative
and classified staff, students or members of the public deal with problems they might
have with the University system. Ombudspersons provide an informal means of problem
resolution should there be a University-related dispute. Ombudspersons are not empowered
to change a decision, but through clarification of matters, information may emerge to
assist in the resolution of the dispute.
