In May 2002, I visited the Pompeu Fabra Universitat in Barcelona, in order to undertake research on political economic changes in Spain.

One of the highlights of my trip was to give a lecture to the Catalan Institut d'Estudis, whose lecture hall is pictured
here. The ceiling of the lecture hall is a map of the Mediterranean,
as can be seen on this page.
The lecture was titled "Globalization
