Universal Islamic Declaration of Human Rights
The Al-Hewar Center, Inc., located in Vienna, Virginia, offers the full text of the Universal Islamic Declaration of Human Rights as proclaimed by the Islamic Council on September 19, 1981. This declaration was compiled by Muslim scholars, jurists, and representatives of Islamic movements. The rights are based on the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah. Footnotes are provided.
