Drug Use Among Adults Arrested by the Glendale, Arizona Police Department

Results from Maricopa County/Phoenix, Arizona’s Arrestee Drug Abuse Monitoring (ADAM) Program show that female adults arrested by the Glendale Police Department are more likely to test positive for methamphetamine and opiates than males. However, male arrestees in Maricopa County are more likely to test positive for marijuana and cocaine when compared to female arrestees. The percentage of female and male arrestees testing positive for multiple drug use is about the same.
