Arizona ADAM includes Maricopa and Pima Counties, which are two of the 39 Arrestee Drug Abuse Monitoring project sites that make up the national ADAM project of the National Institute of Justice (NIJ).  NIJ is the research and evaluation arm of the Office of Justice Programs of United States Department of Justice.  Arizona State University West operates these two sites for NIJ through a contract with the National Opinion Research Center (NORC).  Researchers from the Department of Administration of Justice at ASU West are responsible for staffing and coordinating ADAM data collection at the site and for disseminating ADAM data to interested parties throughout Arizona.

This report was made possible, in part, from support provided by the U.S. Department of Justice’s National Institute of Justice (NIJ).  Findings and conclusions of the report here are those of the authors and do not reflect the official position or policies of the U.S. Department of Justice.
