ABOUT US

Our Mission Statement

The ASU Bookstore provides educational tools and other products to enhance the university experience for students, faculty members and staff. The ASU Bookstore operates efficient stores with urgency and professionalism.

General Information

The Arizona State University Bookstore at the West campus exists to provide certain necessary and requested goods and services to the ASU's West campus community for the enhancement of their educational experience.

The ASU Bookstore at the West campus is owned and operated by Arizona State University. New and used textbooks, supplies, general books, magazines, newspapers, computer hardware and software, ASU at the West campus and ASU insignia clothing, gift items and graduation cap & gown rentals are available from this 6,000 square foot facility, located on the 1st floor, north side of University Center Building.

Merchandise from the ASU Bookstore (Tempe) can be transferred to the ASU Bookstore (West) at no charge. Turnaround time averages 48 hours, providing Tempe has the merchandise in stock. Special orders from publishers or vendors take longer.

LATEST NEWS

Harkins Movie Tickets

ASU Bookstore at the West campus sells discounted Harkins Movie tickets for $5.75 each. The tickets are valid seven days per week and can be used at Harkins Theatres nationwide. The tickets are not valid after 6 pm for Special Engagements. ASU Bookstore at the West campus is the only location selling discounted Harkins Movie tickets on campus. Student Life and Cashiering no longer provide this service.

Textbooks

    Note: The highest prices are paid during finals. Dates and hours of textbook buyback during finals are posted in each semester's ASU at the West campus Schedule Of Classes. Buyback prices are subject to change. Prices are quoted to customers when the textbook being sold is brought into the Bookstore.

  • Test guides, reference, faculty publications, foreign language aids, career and education titles

  • Books currently in print may be special ordered at no additional charge

Computer Software and Hardware

Students wanting to purchase software or hardware must meet minimum qualifications for the current semester. Check with the bookstore for details.

Calculators and Electronics

  • Basic, business/financial, scientific and graphic calculator

BOOKSTORE SERVICES

Class Rings

ArtCarved (www.artcarved.com) and Jostens (www.jostens.com) class ring representatives are on campus during the Fall and Spring semesters. Check with the Bookstore for dates and times.

Special Events

Departments and clubs are encouraged to contact the Bookstore Manager to arrange for ASU Bookstore at the West campus involvement in your event.

RETURN POLICY

To obtain a refund you must have both your cash register receipt and photo identification. The Bookstore manager reserves the right to determine merchandise salability.

Textbooks

  • New and used textbooks may be returned for a full refund within the first four weeks of the semester for which they were purchased. Five and eight week summer session textbooks may be returned within one week. Two or three week classes may return textbooks within two days.
  • All textbooks purchased or returned after the return deadline are not eligible for a full refund, but may have buyback value.
  • Copy packets are a final sale and are nonrefundable.
  • New books must be in mint condition to be considered new and receive a full refund price. DO NOT WRITE OR HIGHLIGHT IN ANY NEW BOOK until you absolutely know you will not need a refund. Books that are written in, even though purchased new, will be refunded and resold at the used price.

General Merchandise

  • Return any general merchandise within five days.
  • Item must be in new condition and in original packaging.
