So You Want to be a Mentor? 

• Must complete COM 225 with a grade of B or better

• Must be dependable as you are responsible for opening and closing the lab

• Must be able to work independently with a diverse population

• A maximum of 12 credits can be earned in CALL

• Option to earn pass/fail credit or graded credit

• Graded option becomes available starting your second semester of mentoring.  This option includes additional responsibilities, advanced assignments, and educational presentations.

• Credit is based on the number of hours worked:

  • 3 credit hours = 8 hours per week

  • 2 credit hours = 6 hours per week

  • 1 credit hour = 4 hours per week
