Avoiding Poor Body Language  

  1. Do not grip or lean on the podium.
  2. Do not tap your fingers or tap your foot.
  3. Do not slouch.
  4. Avoid playing with jewelry, clothing, or anything else that appears fidgety.
  5. Do not frown.
  6. Do not bite your lip or nails or excessively lick your lips.
  7. Avoid wagging your head.
  8. Don’t adjust your hair or clothing
  9. Do not look down versus at the audience.
  10. Do not dress unprofessionally or too casually.
