Making Your Speech More Interesting!

  1. Practice makes perfect: This will help you to speak with confidence.
  2. Be your self when you are speaking in front of a crown by picking a topic that suites you.
  3. Catch the audience’s attention with a compelling introduction: Ask a question, tell a story, recite a quotation or a poem, or give a demonstration.
  4. Be dresses and ready to impress: Look comfortable but professional.
  5. Showing your interest, agreement or disagreement, attitudes and beliefs through vivid and open facial expressions will help you to communicate the portraying message.
  6. Using hand gestures is a sure way to make your speech lively and passionate. Use them as you would in an everyday conversation.
  7. Continue to engage eye contact with the audience. This will help to engage and keep the interest of the audience.
  8. Use a visual aid. This will not only aid you in the delivery of your speech but it will also help you to gain and maintain audience attention.
  9. “Your voice is the vehicle that communicates the words of your speech to the audience”. It is important to allow your pitch to vary with the importance you put on the points that you are trying to make.
  10. Make sure that the volume of your voice is strong. Vocalize your confidence through the volume of your speech. Most importantly be sure that everyone can hear you.
