Types of Proposals

a) Empirical: An empirical proposal is one that presents a study based in data and draws conclusions thereof.
b) Theoretical: A theoretical proposal is one whose main thrust is to give principled analyses of issues. It draws connections among current explanatory frameworks and extends them in important ways.

If a proposal is accepted as a Short Oral, a 1-page synopsis will be published in the conference proceedings.

c) Poster Sessions: Limited to the equivalent of nine standard letter sheets, to be displayed on a poster board. If a proposal is accepted as a Poster, a 1-page abstract will be published in the conference proceedings.
