Working Groups

The purpose of the Working Groups is to provide opportunities for collaboration among colleagues from across North America who share similar research interests; in order to enhance communication and develop scholarly communities among the members. Some of the Working Groups will continue from PME-NA XXI.

Research Report

The program will consist 78 research reports.Ê This forum provides an avenue for the presentation of a broad range of research issues including both theoretical and empirical papers.Ê These sessions last 40 minutes, allowing an author to present for 20 minutes followed by 20 minutes of discussion.Ê A 7-page paper for each research report session will be published in the conference proceedings.

Short Oral Reports

The program will consist of 54 short oral sessions.ÊÊ Two short orals will be thematically linked during each 40 min. session.Ê Each author will present for 10-15 minutes followed by a short discussion.Ê A 1-page abstract of each short oral will be published in the conference proceedings.

Poster Presentation

A ninety-minute session will be available for poster presentations where a visual display of research projects, software developments, curricular innovations, educational programs, etc. will be available for viewing and discussion with the poster authors(s).Ê A 1-page abstract of the poster will be included in the conference proceedings.
