The Minor Degree & Certificate Program

The Ethnic Studies Minor degree program is for the undergraduate student who is already enrolled in a degree program at ASU's West campus. Students are asked to complete 6 hours of core requirements (ETH 300, Principles of Ethnic Studies & ETH 484, Internship), in addition to 15 units of electives.

The Ethnic Studies Certificate is recommended for undergraduate, graduate and non-degree students, who wish to benefit from the Curriculum without the internship requirement.  Students are asked to fulfill 21 credit hours; ETH 484 (internship) is replaced with an elective.

ASU's West campus vigorously pursues affirmative action and equal opportunity in its employment, activities, and educational programs.
