Opportunities

Student

Students completing the Major, Minor, or Certificate program will acquire a knowledge and understanding of ethnic diversity that are essential in today’s global society and workplace.  The Ethnicity, Race, and First Nations Studies Major, Minor and Certificate programs are strongly recommended for students who plan careers in:

  • social services

  • education

  • health care professions

  • public relations

  • criminal justice system

  • community development

  • business

  • public administration 

The Ethnic Studies Minor degree program is designed for students who want to supplement their current degree at the undergraduate level. 

The Ethnic Studies Certificate program is designed for graduate students or non-degree seeking students.
