What are intramurals, and how do I get involved?
Intramurals are a great way to meet new people and build relationships through participation in recreational sports leagues and tournaments that we offer throughout the year. Our intramural program is free for all students and faculty of Arizona State University. You can register online individually or as a team. You can also register at the Diablo Performance and Recreation Center which is in the basement of the University Center Building (UCB B119).

I want to officiate, how do I get started?
If you are interested in becoming an intramural official please email Mike Beadle or call 602.543.8524. No experience is needed, all training is free! Meet new people, make some money, gain valuable experience, and have fun.

Where can I find championship team photographs?
Check out our brand new "Hall of Champions", or the new section of the Hall of Champions at the Diablo Performance and Recreation Center (UCB B119).

What is the "Sparky Cup"?
The Sparky Cup is a brand new competition in which students/staff can participate. For every intramural event you come out and participate in you gain 'points' towards the Cup Standings. Roadrunners logoThe person with the most 'points' at the end of the semester wins 2 half season tickets to the Phoenix RoadRunners and their name engraved on the 'Sparky Cup' which will be displayed at the Diablo Performance and Recreation Center (UCB B119). Just remember, the more you participate (and win), the better chance you will have to claim the Sparky Cup! You will have another chance to check out the Phoenix RoadRunners when ASU visits the RoadRunners on October 24th during ASU Family Weekend. Please contact Michael Beadle for more information and how to get your tickets and show ASU pride while watching some great hockey!

What is the Residential College Championship and how do I get involved?
ASU West Intramurals believes in creating a community setting for everyone participating in our program. A great way to get to know other students with similar interests/majors is by forming teams and participating as a Residential College. We offer a Residential College Championship where participants' attendance will be tracked based upon their Residential College. The College with the most participation throughout the year (based upon percentage of total population) will receive a Residential College Championship cup, which they can display at their respective College with pride. They will also have a spot on our website and a photo of the winning department with their cup inside the Diablo Performance and Recreation Center. If you would like more information please contact Michael Beadle or 602.543.8524.

Is the intramural program all about winning?
Absolutely not. We believe in providing a fun, safe, and recreational environment for everyone who participates. To show this, we give awards out to our participants for Sportsmanship, Participation, and many others!

This all sounds great, is there anything else I get for participating?
Believe it or not, there is more! At many of our events throughout the semester we have a variety of giveaways, free food, and music to help keep you pumped up for the game! Plus, all of the champions receive a "Champion" T-Shirt, which they can wear with pride (along with bragging rights).
