Scenic Palm Walk on ASU West Campus The Mission Statement for ASUW's College of Education "is to prepare outstanding educators to teach in ever-changing settings through commitment to high standards of innovative teaching, broad-based scholarship and quality service to the university and the community." Can you see the integration of the notion of a 'reflective practioner' in my Teaching, Scholarship, and Service to the Profession and School Community? I devote my professional energy to accomplishing this mission by using reflective processes that reassure me that people who work with me are appreciating the innovative teaching I use as well as benefiting from the instruction, community service, and research I do. My role as "professor emerita" allows me to continue to serve ASUW in my research, teaching, and service activities.
