Video Station 1 = Super VHS hi-fi deck to Super VHS hi-fi deck
This dubbing station can make a copy of a VHS tape or select portions of it. This station can be used with tapes recorded at any speed (SP, EP, or SLP). .

Video Station 2 = SVHS hi-fi deck to SVHS hi-fi deck
This dubbing station can make a high quality copy of a VHS tape or select portions of it. This station can be used only with tapes recorded at high quality normal speed (SP or 2-hour mode).

Video Station 3 = International Standard video deck to SVHS hi-fi deck
This dubbing station can make a copy of a VHS tape from any country in the world and convert it to the format used in the United States (NTSC) or it can make a copy of an NTSC tape which is playable in other countries. It supports all major international formats.

Video Station 4 = SVHS hi-fi deck to SVHS hi-fi duplicator (copy 3 VHS tapes at once)
This dubbing station can make three copies of a VHS tape at once. This station can be used only with tapes recorded at high quality normal speed (SP or 2-hour mode).

Video Station 5 = Laser Disc Player to SVHS hi-fi deck
The laser disc player is attached to a high quality SVHS VCR and can make copies of any laser disc or portions of a disc.

Video Station 6= 3/4" Tape to SVHS hi-fi deck
The 3/4" video tape deck is attached to a high quality SVHS VCR and can make copies of any 3/4" video tape.

Video Station 7= dual 4-head VHS hi-fi dubbing deck
This dubbing station can make a high quality copy of a VHS tape or select portions of it. It can make a standard VHS tape from an SVHS master. It also has a titling feature.

Computer Workstation 2 = VHS to DVD transfer system

Computer video editing station. This has a VHS to Iomega SuperDVD burner setup, to allow easy video transfer from VHS to DVD.

Computer Workstation 8 = PC video editing station with Pinnacle DV500 Plus
Computer video editing station. This has a high quality DV500 Plus PCI bus mastering card, Pinnacle Systems audio/video Breakout Box, and all software needed to allow processing of video and audio on the PC. Setup capture with a VCR as the input source. This can be used to capture video or still frames from a VHS tape for a web page, multimedia project or other uses. Edited Video can be output to VHS (2 hours), Video Cd (47 min) or DVD (max. 2 hours)
 
Computer Workstation 5 = Mac video editing station with IEEE 1394 Firewire digital capture and a DVD burner
Computer video editing station. This has a high quality video card and software to allow processing of video and audio on the Macintosh. This can be used to capture video or still frames from any digital camera with firewire. A firewire cable is available in the lab and with your own blank DVD you can record up to 2 hours of video footage.
