Classrooms

Classrooms by Type

Traditional classrooms - Classrooms equipped with VCR/DVD player and monitor connected to the campus television network, transparency (overhead) projector, and Ethernet connection. Some have additional equipment.

Mediated classrooms - Traditional classrooms that also have a presenter computer and a ceiling-mounted projector.

Computer classrooms - Mediated classrooms that also have computers for every student.

Using Classrooms

Accounts - You need an account to use equipment in ASU's classrooms. Accounts are available for guests as well as for members of the ASU community.

Classroom software - Software that is installed on computers in mediated and computer classrooms.

Deliverable classroom equipment - Equipment that can be delivered to regularly-scheduled classes.

Equipment use instructions - Step by step instructions for using classroom equipment.

Problem Reporting - How to report problems and get help if classroom equipment is missing or not working.

Support services - Classroom technology training, software installation services, in-class support for instructors, notifying you if your classroom has technology problems.
