Using Classroom Amplifiers

TOA A-503A amplifier

Classrooms on ASU's West campus are equipped with TOA A-503A amplifiers.

Normally, you will use the amplifier to control the volume of sound associated with your computer, VCR, DVD, or television.

If the amplifier and VCR are in a rack on the wall -- which they are in the classrooms on the first floor of Sands -- turn on the rack using the red switch on the face.

Turn on the amplifier using the knob on the lower right, if the red power light is not already on.

Adjust the volume using the "master" knob on the right.

If you have microphones attached to the amplifier, adjust their volume using the Input 1 knob on the left of the unit.
