The Encyclopedia of the Gilded Age and Progressive Era (EGAPE) is a three-volume reference work intended primarily for college, high school, and public libraries and for scholars and students specializing in the history of the United States between 1877 and 1920. It is co-edited by John D. Buenker, professor emeritus of history at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and author or editor of eight books on various aspects of the Gilded Age and Progressive Era, and Joseph Buenker, assistant librarian at Arizona State University at the West campus. |
