Instruction - Developed course-integrated library instruction for business students in a sequenced program that incorporates critical thinking skills and information competencies; collaborated with School of Management faculty in developing assignments; created a model for teaching students to analyze, synthesize and organize information from various sources to help them with library research projects and group research; created information assignments for UNI 101 freshmen; developed handouts for library users not affiliated with ASU West; provided one-on-one instruction at the Reference Desk and remotely via telephone and e-mail.

Web - West Library Web Team - Created and maintained West Library Web 1997-98. Created and maintained Business Information web site for SOM students that integrates commercial databases, electronic journals, web sites, and print reference sources by topic; created pages for selecting business databases, citing electronic business sources in APA style, research strategies for assignments and company research for job interviews, to provide instruction 24/7; helped create a 9/11/01 site that integrates web sites and library materials on related topics; conducted sabbatical research project on web-based instruction.

Collection Development - Created a model for monograph usage studies (using the Innovative Interfaces library automation system) that is useful for selection and retention; systematically weeded and updated reference, circulating, journal, video, and microform business collections.
