  • The Universal Web Accessibility Symposium will address the legal and technical requirements for universal accessibility to the Internet. Legal mandates for universal accessibility and the subsequent requirements will be examined. Various resources used to verify that standards for web accessibility have been met will be compared. Experts will further discuss the growing trend to interweave Web design for aging adults (the fastest-growing demographic group using the web) and physically challenged individuals.
  • Bobby
  • Bobby is a software application from CAST (Center for Applied Special Technology) that checks web pages for accessibility compliance. Specify a URL for checking, and Bobby examines the files and reports any accessibility problems.  Bobby is available via the web, or as an inexpensive local software application.
