Developing Educational Standards is a web site that links to technology standards from various state, national, and international organizations.


Students:

The NETS Project (National Educational Technology Standards for Students) lists the Profiles for Technology Literate Students, PreK-12.
 
 

Teachers

The Utah Technology Awareness Project provides online skills tests for teachers for their own personal awareness.  Results point out areas of competence and suggested training for weak areas and general growth.  Registered users can maintain their personal environment while they take advantage of skill building and training opportunities.  Guests can take the tests to asses their competencies.

Commercial sites include Teacher Universe which has a free assessment test that is based on ISTE/NCATE Standards for Basic Endorsement in Educational Computing and Technology Literacy.
