The main activity is to assist governments and civil society organizations to develop solutions to migration
problems.

“The Migration Policy Institute (MPI) is an independent, non-partisan, non-profit think-tank in Washington, D.C. dedicated to the study of the movement of people worldwide. They mainly do their own research, but they also contact different international government agencies such as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), National Migration Institute for further information that will help them with their work of establishing policies.
