Chivas Rayadas del Guadalajara

My family and I come from the state of
Jalisco in Mexico. Living outside of our country of birth, we miss
different things such as our family members, but at the same time we
bring some of these
items with us to the US such as our love for the
Club Guadalajara soccer team that was established in Guadalajara,
Mexico. This is my father’s favorite soccer team and he has passed this
liking of soccer to
us. Club Guadalajara or Chivas Rayadas del Guadalajara is
a soccer team in the first division of the Mexican
National League of
Soccer. The team is composed of players who are Mexican born; they have
won 10 championships and it is one of the most popular
teams in Mexico.
This past year the owner of the team has now formed another soccer team
with the name Chivas USA, but in the US which will be part of the
Major Soccer League of
the United States. In Mexico soccer is the most
popular sport and for us living here in the US to have another soccer
team with the name Chivas USA represents part of our country and
the liking of soccer.
