Eric Border's City Migrants Project

In this project I was required to go out into the city and find some immigrants that are living in the United States. In this project I was supposed to see that the "border" between US and Mexico is not an imaginary line, it is in our neighborhoods and we see it on a daily basis, if one recognizes it or not.

For my City Migrants project, I visited a local Mexican food restaurant. All of the employees that work their except for the owner, are from Mexico. The restaurant serves authentic Mexican food to the local upper middle class community. Almost all of the customers that go to the restaurant are not Mexican. This restaurant shows that the Mexican culture is becoming more popular and recognized. It was once frowned upon and now it is embraced.
