Borderlinks Field Trip to Nogales, Mexico
On
February 23, 2005 our Migration & Culture course took an
educational
field trip to Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, led by the knowledgeable
staff from BorderLinks, a
Tucson-based non-profit
organization dedicated to education about the US/Mexico border
region. BorderLinks
tailored our full-day excursion to the theme of migration. The field
trip
added an innovative and exciting dimension to our course. Students each
wrote
up these brief reports about one or two key aspects that most impressed
them.
Enjoy!
