The
object that I selected to bring in is the picture of my grandparents
that was taken in Mexico. I chose to bring this picture in because
without them, my parents would not have migrated to the Unites
States. My grandparents were both born in Durango, Mexico and later
moved to Sinaloa, Mexico where they had nine boys and two daughters,
one being my mom. They did not migrate here, but my parents did in
1977 to Los Angeles, California. They moved here to support their
son, my oldest brother, and to provide a better opportunity for the
rest of their future family. My grandparents were the beginning of
the migration process for the Lopez Family.
