I chose a picture of my family’s Coat of Arms
as my family object. My ancestors are originally from Argyle, Scotland.
I spoke to my grandmother about the name and she told me that as far
back as
The family Coat of Arms is fairly traditional. The colors red, silver and gold symbolize military strength, sincerity and generosity, respectively. The engrailed heraldic lines represent the earth or land and the three shamrocks symbolize eternity. The Latin phrase “per orbeum” means “through the world” and was the war-cry of the family.
